Artists Look at the Many Sides of Love in “Heart Art” Exhibit

February is a time when the thoughts of many people turn to love, and artists are no exception. “Heart Art” is the theme for the February show at Poudre Studio Artists & Galleries, opening on Friday, February 3. Local and national artists give us a look at many different types of love, and of the ups and downs of being in love.

“One of the great things about artists is that they don’t only show us the pretty, “greeting card” side of things, they also look at the raw, unraveled edges,” says Becky Hawley, marketing director of Poudre Studio Artists & Galleries. “It’s an intriguing group of artwork, and the stories behind the pieces make them even more fascinating.”
